2023 Internships Program for Undergraduate and Graduate Students | agriculture.house.gov

The Committee on Agriculture offers a limited number of internships to undergraduate and graduate students. Interns will have a unique opportunity to be involved in the operations of a congressional committee and the legislative process.

About Us:

The Committee on Agriculture was created on May 3, 1820, and oversees subjects relating to agriculture, forestry, nutrition and finance. The committee is made up of six subcommittees, which are responsible for addressing specific legislative priorities within their scope.

Typical internships are offered from September through December, January through May, and throughout the summer. Interns are responsible for their own housing, but the committee’s intern coordinator can make housing suggestions.

Those interested in applying for an internship should submit an application by the following deadlines.

Summer Sessions – March 15
Fall Semester – July 1
Spring Semester – November 15
