Job description

Working in our Norman Wells Operations, you will be part of a group of skilled trade’s people who carry out mechanical work in the Norman Wells Plant and Field. Accountable for maintenance, PM, working on process control equipment, compressors and turbine generators, and optimization of all plant and field rotating equipment. Planning, coordination and supervision of all contract millwright services in coordination with maintenance planner.

Live in 5/2 and 4/3 work schedule

Qualifications

Academic:

  • High School Diploma or Millwright or Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
  • Millwright or Heavy Duty Mechanical Journeyman with 3+ years’ experience and Interprovincial Red Seal

Other:

  • Consistently works in a safe manner, understands all applicable safety, environmental guidelines and procedures
  • Strong planning, coordination, and supervisory skills
  • Good team and communication skills (written / verbal)
  • Good organizational and documentation skills e.g. Overhauls etc
  • Above average to strong performance required
  • Highly self-motivated with ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Gas Compression experience/knowledge 
  • Good analytical troubleshooting skills
  • Computer skills in MS Word and Excel
  • Displays a high degree of innovation
  • Has a valid driver’s license

Eligibility to work in Canada
