About the Job:

Each year, we strive to recruit and invest in academics who are motivated and enthusiastic about joining our firm. We recruit new graduates for most permanent positions on the first day. We have a four-week mandatory orientation. After orientation, the graduates are taken through the Allan Gray academy, which is an ‘incubated’ functional training environment. This lasts for a period of three to six months, depending on the role. The result: graduates in real roles, taking their first steps towards achieving their long-term ambitions.

Currently completing a Commerce or Business Science degree with majors in Finance, Economics, Investments, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Quantitative Analysis

Responsibility:

As a Client Service Centre (CSC) consultant you are at the coalface of building trust and confidence with clients and delivering excellent service. You are the primary touchpoint for clients interacting and transacting with us via telephone, email, webchat and face-to-face consultations. You are able to engage in meaningful work, by empowering our clients on their investment journey, while getting access to industry leaders and development opportunities to build a long-term career at Allan Gray.

New recruits in the CSC, complete a four-week orientation programme, after which you will spend three to six months in the Allan Gray Academy, an incubated, functional training environment. The duration of participation in the Academy is dependent on the role being filled. This is your first step to achieving your long-term ambitions.

Qualifications and Eligibility

We value academic excellence and a long-term perspective. We are looking for focused and resilient final year students who share our values: performance driven, individually accountable and independent minded who are completing a Bachelor’s degree in the following fields.

• Bachelor’s Degree – specialization includes, but is not limited to Commerce, Business Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Quants etc.
• A minimum GPA of 70% or higher throughout your university tenure.
• Must be eligible to work in South Africa.
