Job Description

The Manager of Content and Programming is responsible for curating and producing content and learning programs that support ASCM’s event product portfolio, membership, and event strategies.

This includes finding, developing, and managing priority content topics; Aligning stakeholders around the vision for the event product; Prioritizing event features; dissemination method(s); subject matter experts and speakers; innovative digital and traditional development tools; and integration with other product portfolios.

He/she will also create and manage workflows, dashboards, and relevant data that feeds all ASCM delivery platforms (webinars, podcast, Knowledge Center, virtual and in-person event platforms, etc.).

Success in this role requires a balance of highly mature personal relationship skills, experience with event and speaker management, and a desire to learn more about supply chain management.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Manage the program production processes from development to release for ASCM events product portfolio including but not limited to webinars, ASCM CONNECT conferences, Podcast, and other events and educational videos for broadcast and on demand viewing.
  • Manage the educational content on ASCM event platform (agenda, speaker lineup, attached documents, polls, surveys, etc.)
  • Support product, marketing, and business intelligence efforts as needed:
    • Marketing content pieces
    • Knowledge Center programs
    • Editorial support
    • Post-event reports
    • Presenter dashboard
  • Provide on-site support for in person events
    • Site visit
    • Laison with venue
    • Registration
    • Laison with speaker(s)
  • Lead the Speaker engagement process
    • Call for presentations
    • Evaluation
    • Speaker Agreements
    • Speaker Content
  • Monitor trends in supply chain and operations management using the content platform and other resources
  • Update Event and Programs dashboard as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

  • A bachelors degree
  • At least two years of experience in marketing, events and/or conference content production.

Knowledge | Skills | Abilities

  • The ability to effectively manage several projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to take and follow direction, while also having a creative eye for improvements
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Time and project management skills
  • The ability to travel domestically and internationally to conferences, meetings, and other venues as appropriate. Estimated required travel is 10% to 20%.
  • Experience with digital content production tools
  • Experience with Aventri and GoToWebinar is a plus.
