Job Description
Summer graduate intern in Assembly and Test Technology Development (ATTD) organization responsible for package enabling of electrical and optical high speed signaling. Responsible for development of necessary methodology and metrology core competencies to support the aforementioned efforts. Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a nonexempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job.Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school. This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on candidate education level and internship duration.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on applied electromagnetics, power/signal integrity, packaging or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrate experience on the following:
- Packaging, interconnects, applied electromagnetics and high speed IO design.
- Circuit analysis and signal and power integrity tools such as Simulation Program with Integrated Circuit Emphasis-SPICE, High Frequency Simulation System-HFSS and Advanced Design System-ADS.
- Computer architecture and fundamental scripting skills with tool such as Matlab.
- Proficiency of transmission line fundamentals, microwave engineering and electromagnetics

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
