MATERIALS & COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE INTERNSHIP – RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Material Supply Expert for Wipes
  • Support the site in material related projects at a regional level, providing technical perspective that ensures site expectations are met upon rollout / validation
  • Lead Problem solving in case of data/ technical related / COA issues with the supplier (f/u with material owner and supplier, support back-up supply, release of materials, technical recommendations, etc.)
  • Support PiPo technically for RM allocation changes or technical changes
  • Support Localization of suppliers including leading qualification plans to be executed in the site.
  • Rollout support for stand-alone RM Cost Savings projects in line with Masterplan
  • Independently identifies and leads complex work/projects to build the business continuity
  • Understands the material properties change in the product design and in the process.
  • Wipes Supplier Knowledge:
  • Anticipates site needs and develops action plans in conjunction with GMDSO Material Manager and suppliers to address them
  • Close coaching of supplier through establishment of partnerships to ensure objectives chartered are met
  • Calibration and mutual support with regional / global material owners
  • Market expert
  • Be aware of Materials & product new technologies, new supplies of material, new wipes technologies and consumers research in terms of wipes
  • Attend to materials and products’ exhibitions

Qualifications

  • Technical Mastery in Materials, Process and Product Design and their interfaces / interaction.
  • Strong in Collaboration and Communication. Broad business view and understanding of regional and / or global needs.
  • Initiative and leadership – “Can-Do attitude”, crisis management capability
  • Works independently, or in a team setting and is given significant latitude to make decisions
  • Digital Skills
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to interact and partner with multi-function teams to reach a desired objective. This collaboration is expected to happen within both global and regional execution teams, with packaging capability resources, and with suppliers.

Education

  • University/Bachelor graduate (Engineering degree)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
