Petroplan Careers: Materials Engineering Consultant LNG

Petroplan are lookin gto hire a Materials Engineering Consultant on the LNG side.

This will be a 12 month contract on a negotiable hourly rate.

Hybrid working is offered and free parking at site.

A Materials Engineering Consultant is required to be part of a new LNG expert group being established in Basingstoke, UK to support the expansion in new LNG projects.

Supporting review and monitoring of currently ongoing EPC projects for new floating LNG facilities and design of new on and offshore LNG facilities.

You must be highly experienced in LNG design and conversant with the main LNG materials of construction and the relevant requirements including manufacturing and fabrication as well as (metallurgy, corrosion, welding, coating, cathodic protection).

Degree / Masters of Mechanical or Materials Engineering. Member of a relevant Institution, Preferred Chartered Eng.
