PICTURES OF THE YEAR PHOTO CONTEST
Submit your favorite picture from your photo library for a chance to be included in National Geographic Magazine, along with the world’s leading photographers! Show us what caught your eye – Nature, cities, people, and animals in your world.
- One lucky grand-prize winner will be included in an upcoming issue of National Geographic magazine (the United States edition) and receive a six-month digital subscription to the magazine.
- Up to 10 honorable mention winners will have their photo included on National Geographic’s YourShot Instagram account (@NatGeoYourShot), with more than 6.5 million followers, and receive a six-month digital subscription to the magazine.
Eligibility
Legal and eligible residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 18 years of age (and the age of majority in their state or jurisdiction or residence). The photo you are submitting must have been taken in the past two years, may not have been previously published, and must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM ET on December 31, 2022.
