Spray Painter, Panel Beater Job Openings
Your Responsibilities
- Analysing motor vehicles/equipment to understand the extent of repair and restoration required
- Communicating with customers and making a note of their customization requests
- Providing customers with an estimate of cost and timeline for conducting vehicle repairs
- Keeping customers up to date with the repair work progress
- Dismantling and assembling various vehicle parts and components
- Adhering to the safety guidelines and health protocols at all time
- Keeping the work area clean and safe
- Planning and scheduling vehicle repairs
- Carrying out refinishing and repainting work
- Removing damaged parts and panels and replacing the same
- Operating recovery vehicles to ascertain their functioning
Requirements
- Matric
- Tertiary qualification in Spray painting / Panel beating (advantageous)
- Proven work experience as a Panel Beater/Spray painter
- Familiarity with mechanical, metalworking equipment, spray painting, and welding tools
- Complete knowledge of the safety and health protocols
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Having an excellent eye for detail
- Ability to work at flexible hours and in extreme weather conditions
- Excellent technical and mechanical skills
- Ability to offer excellent customer service
